Some people just want to make it hard… May 30, 2008
Well it has been a crazy few days getting ready for all the big races. So after all the prep everyone needs to get things done in the last few days. I got an interview with Global at the velodrome. that was fun. It was with Gina my team mate on the national team. so of course we had a good time.
The bad news is this. I was putting an track bike in the car in my underground LOCKED garage and forgot my shoes so I went up stairs to grab them. I came back down not 20 min later and an huge screw driver hole was preyed into my door. They didn’t get in but they did about $1000 dollars worth of damage. I mean I am in a parking garage filled with the nicest cars and my jitty little civic never turns a head. What a pain in the but. Of all the people in that building that could have afforded a vandalism I am not one of them. It is not enough to give up the fancy cars and the great job to be an athlete…you have to have the crappy car that people think they can break into and cost you MORE money…boo urns I say BOOO urns.
I have a lot of faith in people…probably to much…this kind of thing is frustrating.
