Allentown and Biking bros June 5, 2008
So because of our finacial woes the guys have all takin to calling the team a club. And given our daily activities I would say it is appropriate. The night before the first Philly week race we had a “to do list” that included bottles and bikes and coolers…we had to get a volunteer feeder from another team and were last car in the caravan. This is a frustrating situation for guys on a team that finished last year #1 on the team ranking. Well it is frustrating for me anyway. But we are the s team right we are still racing and doing it just like always. Not to say we are happy with our situation, but at least we are still racing together as a team and that is huge.
I had a hard day in allen town. The race was fast for the whole thing and I unfortunately cramped in my gut the last time up the little kicker. Legs felt ok…I just need to stay on top of feeding myself.
On a different note my fellow team mates have started a little web site as well and are selling there own “biking bros coffee brand” it is a pretty good idea I think. Check them out…
