Beauce, Lachine and Behmoth June 21, 2008
We finished off Beauce with a bang. Svein won the over all…tip of the hat to him because it is no small task and something he has been working at for a while so we were all happy to work for him all week. I was on the front riding hard for much of the race. This is a great way to build form. Up to this point I have been doing almost entirely base miles so racing hard at the front of a race like Beauce hurts but man it builds the form. I got stronger every day which is something that is not common for me in a race like that . So it is looking like the climb to the top of form is going well. After Beauce we went to Montreal for the first Mardis Lachine Race. It is a 20 year old tuesday nighter that gets bigger crowds than many NRC races. The team lead me out at over 62 km/hr so no one was crowding around the last corner. I was able to jump clear for the win. Which is great cause my jump has had little work in the last few months.
I also received my new Video Camera from Lenovo…it is Flip Camera, It can take and hour of good video and and it is the size of a cell phone. It is great. I have lots of good videos. I will try to put them together over the next few days…but long and short is they involve. Racing, Niagra and “the Bahemoth”.
